This tool built with Lovable might reach 1.6M users
I started vibe-coding out of curiosity. I used it get buy-in, pitch ideas, eventually to be lead designer on the same real life project
I noticed that many teams internally and the users externally were struggling to manage physical inventory. They didn’t know:
Who had what
Where it was
If it needed maintenance
Step 1
So I built an Inventory Management App using Lovable.
It had:
Map view
Address validation
Real-time photos
Check-in and check-out tracking
Step 2
I recorded a demo in Teams explaining the features and my thought process.T
Impact
I shared a demo to my team and it spread among different teams quickly, and three teams asked to pilot it. Since it looked real, it was easy to show value.
Step 3
This is when I realized it wasn’t just a weekend project anymore.
I showed it to a few developers. One said they wouldn’t even review it because it was AI-generated.
Another dev looked at it and said:
“This is solid. If I had to build it, I’d start from this.”
That gave me the confidence to keep going.
Impact
I learnt more on code quality
Felt happy how the code would further help the developer
Step 4
I interviewed the teams who wanted to use it. I mapped out what they actually needed.
I realized some of the features were nice-to-have. But there was one core use case everyone cared about.
Step 5
A team started working on something similar and they felt my work would add value, so I joined as a lead designer to bring this to production
Impact
My work on AI helped me get visibility in different teams
Step 4
What started as a small project slowly became bigger than we anticipated which would also lead to difficulty in showing the bigger picture to stakeholders. I created AI generate videos using Google Flow and wrote a story and script to show the bigger picture.

Impact
Showing complex topics with fun and memorable format
Last step
I now work on both visuals and experience of the tool, using the design system in place and being validated, also knowing when ready 3 internal teams and millions of external users will be happy to use
