My favorite story

Life

Until today, this story has been my go-to for a good laugh and remembering the best days of my schooling.
I never realized there were so many lessons to learn from it as well.
On the eve of Independence Day, our school held several inter-class competitions like class decoration and dancing. As a new student in my class, I was super excited about it. Since I stayed in the boarding school,
I asked my class teacher to bring lots of decorative items, including colorful sarees (Indian cloth) and flowers. She was so kind and happy to help, bringing a lot of them. A few of my classmates suggested it wasn't a good idea, that I was wasting my time, and a different class would likely win since they were really cool. They proceeded to destroy whatever my friends and I started working on. We had to sit down and encourage ourselves, which took a lot of time.
Eventually, we all got motivated, so we gathered all our creative supplies in the center of the class. Our teacher suggested we go dance and come back, starting from scratch as a team. We happily went to dance, and of course, we made mistakes, but we were united, so we were happy!
Right after the dance, they announced the winner of the class decoration. They judged our classes while we were dancing, and our class was worse than it usually was. My teacher's clothes and flowers were all scattered on the ground. It must have been super embarrassing, and I still feel sorry about it. And of course, my fellow class won.
Do you have any clue what they did? They kept their class clean! Clean shelves, desks, and boards—that's it!
**Lessons for my design journey:**
- Of course, the journey matters, but the judge (user) doesn’t care.
- Beautiful is neat, clean, and clear.
- How fast you get up from failing and motivate the team around you matters.
The concept of color harmony entails the strategic placement of colors, intended to optimize viewer perception. Arranged colors prompt a sense of pleasure in observers, whereas disarray in design can trigger feelings of chaos and repulsion. Secondary colors are shades produced by combining two primary colors.
